Engineering experience, applied pragmatically
Boostedra Technologies supports software and AI systems from architectural decisions through deployment, with engineers who have built and operated production systems.
Our role and working approach
Our model combines direct engineering involvement with responsibility for the systems we deliver.
We are
- An experienced engineering partner responsible for delivery
- Engineers with hands-on experience running production systems
- Technical decisions based on constraints and trade-offs
- A working relationship that continues after delivery
We are not
- A freelancer marketplace billing by the hour
- A generalist agency that hands off the work and leaves
- A team choosing new technology for its novelty alone
- A vendor that leaves code without a clear owner
How we approach the work
Decide before coding
Many engineering problems begin with deciding what to build and how to structure it. We resolve those questions before writing the first lines of code.
Evidence for each claim
We define targets for each engagement, measure progress, and report the findings, including when outcomes fall short of expectations.
Designed for handover
Your team must be able to operate and extend the systems we deliver. We include documentation and observability in the engineering work.
Engineer accountability
The engineers who define the scope also implement the solution. Technical decisions do not pass through a separate layer of junior subcontractors.
From initial assessment to production
Understand
We examine the existing system, its constraints, and the main technical decision before recommending an approach.
Architect
We document the proposed architecture and its trade-offs, with a sequence of steps the team can review and implement.
Deliver
Implementation proceeds in short increments, with tests, monitoring, documentation, and handover.
Evolve
After launch, we measure results against targets to guide further improvements.
Keeping standards as we grow
Boostedra is intended to grow from a founder-led practice into a larger engineering firm while retaining its working standards. The approach should remain the same with three people or thirty: experienced technical judgment, documented results, and maintainable production systems.
